StarHigh STAR Employer Program
In order to be eligible for the STAR Employer Program at a StarHigh Community:
-
The applicant must be able to provide acceptable proof of income at the time of application. Proof of income must show the company name and resident name on the offer letter or paystub.
-
For any OSU Preferred Employers listed, the applicant must be able to provide proof that they are employed by OSU. Student financial aid, grad student stipends and the like do NOT qualify as STAR Employer income, including income from a fellowship. OSU STAR employers must be wholly employed by OSU.
-
Resident referral and STAR employer credits cannot be combined.
-
Coworker referrals: In the instance that a resident who qualifies as a STAR Employer refers a coworker, we will apply a one-time credit of $250 to your account for each co-worker referred.
- The referred co-worker MUST state on the application (paper or online) who is the referring resident. If the referring resident is not identified at the time of application, the STAR Employer or resident referral credit will NOT be honored.
- The referred resident must sign a 12-month lease (or greater) in order to be eligible as a STAR Employer referral.
- No STAR Employer or Resident Referral credit(s) will be paid to a person who is not currently living at the community at the time of move-in.
Distribution of Credits:
-
The one-time $300 STAR Employer credit will be credited to the account 30-days after moving in as long as resident is in good standing.
-
Co-worker referral credits will only be applied to accounts in good standing.
